最新报道:According to the draft of Starknet's SNIP 33, Starknet is advancing to a decentralized verification phase, a key step towards full decentralization after version v0.14. The draft states that all blocks are currently verified by a small number of sequencers within StarkWare. Decentralized verification will, for the first time, allow stakers to participate in block confirmation, enhancing the protocol's openness and security. The draft proposes that decentralized verification will utilize a committee composed of the top 100 stakers, who will sign blocks based on their stake ratios. Block confirmation requires more than two-thirds of the signatures. A "reward proposer" mechanism will also be introduced to ensure reward distribution. To prevent network suspensions due to verification issues, the draft also incorporates an optional "centralized leverage" mechanism, allowing for a temporary fallback to centralized mode in unusual circumstances, and a return to decentralized status upon approval by the Security Committee. Furthermore, decentralized verification will maintain Starknet's performance and throughput at least 95% of v0.14, with node deployment costs limited to approximately $1,000 per month and transaction validity and RPC interfaces unchanged. This SNIP is currently in draft stage and aims to collect community feedback to improve the decentralization roadmap for v0.15.
