最新报道:According to Bijie.com, on August 17, Web3 payment application Wirex announced it will support EURC settlement through Visa's stablecoin settlement pilot, marking a significant milestone in the development of blockchain-based payments in Europe. Following the completion of a testing phase, Wirex has now enabled EURC settlement functionality on the Visa network. This collaboration uses the EURC stablecoin, issued by Circle and pegged 1:1 to the euro, to achieve near-real-time settlement. This integration will further streamline cross-border payments and improve the efficiency of cryptocurrency-to-fiat conversions. Wirex Global Head of Payments Svyatoslav Garal stated that this is a significant step forward in enabling everyday payments using digital currencies and represents the first EURC settlement implementation in the EU. Wirex's long-standing partnership with Visa has already processed over $20 billion in transactions. This settlement functionality will bring fast settlement, enhanced security, and transparency to the payments industry, while eliminating the friction of traditional cross-border payments through blockchain technology.
