An MEV bot exploited the permissionless contract to drain approved tokens—including Amp and Swell Network—from Coinbase's corporate wallet. Coinbase CSO Philip Martin confirmed the incident stemmed from an unauthorized transfer linked to a corporate DEX wallet change, stressing no customer funds were impacted. The exchange revoked token allowances and migrated funds to a new wallet in response.
