最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Anza, a research and development company focused on Solana, announced on Twitter that it has introduced Rotor, a new block propagation protocol, in the Solana Alpenglow upgrade. This single-layer relayer system replaces Turbine's multi-hop propagation, accelerating and unifying network block delivery. Rotor fragments blocks, encodes them into shards (shreds), and broadcasts them globally by relayers, ensuring that half the shards can be reconstructed, reducing latency and balancing bandwidth usage. Rotor significantly reduces propagation time and variability, allowing nearly all validators to receive blocks simultaneously, improving throughput and mitigating the risk of forks caused by slow delivery or network latency. For developers, Rotor makes real-time DApps run more smoothly. For validators, Rotor reduces missed slots, reduces bandwidth waste, and makes network load more predictable. Bijie.com previously reported that Anza released a white paper proposing the Alpenglow protocol. This protocol intends to replace Solana's TowerBFT consensus mechanism and Proof-of-History timestamp system, introducing the Votor and Rotor components.
