The Trail Blazers were recently valued at $3.65 billion. Dundon, who owns multiple sports franchises including the Hurricanes and pickleball leagues, would acquire the team from the late Microsoft co-founder's estate managed by Jody Allen. This follows Nike co-founder Phil Knight's unsuccessful $2 billion+ bid in 2022. The NBA and Trail Blazers have not commented on the potential sale.
