最新报道:According to a report from the public relations firm Chainstory, nearly half of crypto news stories in major publications disclosed the use of some kind of artificial intelligence (AI) tool. AI tools are having a significant impact on the information landscape, including journalism. A new Chainstory report analyzed 80,000 articles from five major crypto news sites, revealing a significant increase in AI use through 2025. During this period, 48% of articles from Investing.com, The Defiant, Benzinga, CoinDesk, and Bitcoin News included disclosures about AI use. Investing.com and The Defiant had the highest percentages of AI-generated or AI-assisted content. Notably, these publications were selected based on their explicit disclosure policies regarding AI use. Chainstory acknowledges that the actual figures for these five news sites and the broader crypto news industry may be higher or lower. Chainstory spoke with several editors about their AI policies, including our own Jayson Derrick, editor of crypto.news. He told Chainstory that AI has its place in newsrooms, but using it to write entire articles defeats the purpose of the technology. "AI can be a great research assistant, but a terrible storyteller. It's very helpful for expediting background tasks, like summarizing long research reports, extracting key points from documents, or finding statistics to support a claim. But when it comes to producing actual content, it's ultimately ineffective." Derrick explained that AI isn't currently able to replicate a true human voice. Instead, AI-written articles often come across as robotic, which can feel insincere to readers. "I believe viewers can tell whether content is written by a real person, regardless of whether it's labeled," he said. Regarding the report, Chainstory co-CEO Afik Rechler said, "AI has somehow become a crucial component of crypto journalism, and everyone is using it these days. But it hasn't replaced human reporting. It can't, at least not at this stage. Large language models can't handle stories that require depth, deeper context, nuance, and so on. Using AI isn't necessarily a bad thing, but there has to be a balance to maintain trust."
