最新报道:Flare, the EVM-compatible interoperable chain, has announced its new product—a seedless wallet—along with several other upcoming plans. As some metrics suggest, user engagement is steadily increasing. In a press release shared with CryptoPotato, Flare announced the launch of its seedless, non-custodial wallet, Luminite. Luminite uses Turnkey's embedded wallet technology, allowing users to set up their wallets using familiar login methods like passkeys, biometrics, or email, without having to write down and store seed phrases. Funds can be added through built-in fiat on-ramp partners, including Topper, to purchase FLR, XRP, and other assets. "Luminite was built with one goal in mind: to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 users. By removing complex barriers to entry, we enable anyone—from first-time users to experienced cryptocurrency holders—to access the full power of the Flare ecosystem. This isn't just about making DeFi approachable, it's about enabling the next wave of users to discover blockchain through real utility," said Steve Chadwick, co-founder of Luminite. Beyond onboarding, Luminite will also provide direct access to Flare's growing portfolio of DeFi protocols. Users can delegate their native FLR token to FTSO (Flare's time series oracle) data providers. Additionally, they can mint FXRP (a tokenized version of XRP) through FAssets (non-smart contract assets bridged in a fully custodial manner). Furthermore, they can swap tokens within the wallet, bridge assets through the liquidity transfer protocol Stargate, and participate in liquidity staking by minting sFLR on Sceptre (a staking protocol), all within the Luminite wallet interface. Flare also announced a future Learn & Earn program in partnership with Revolut, which will incentivize new users to explore the ecosystem through education and rewards based on engagement. The current state of FLR: The blockchain recently celebrated its third anniversary since its launch on June 25, 2022. Full operations began approximately 2-3 weeks later in "observation mode," with the Flare Foundation operating all validators. This phase lasted for approximately eight weeks, followed by a Token Generation Event (TGE), during which 15% of the total FLR supply (approximately 12 billion tokens) was released to the public through the Flare Improvement Proposal process. The native token has been appreciating for much of the year, with significant gains in July, and the blockchain itself has locked in over $150 million in DeFi transaction volume, according to data from DefiLlama at the time of press.
