最新报道:According to a report by Bijie.com, Tesla (TSLA.O) is disbanding its Dojo supercomputer team. Project leader Peter Bannon will depart, and Elon Musk has ordered the termination of the R&D program, according to people familiar with the matter. This marks the end of Tesla's significant efforts to develop its own autonomous driving chips. People familiar with the matter said that approximately 20 employees from the team have recently joined the newly formed DensityAI, and the remaining members will be reassigned to other data center and computing-related projects. Tesla reportedly plans to rely more heavily on external technology partners in the future, including computing power from Nvidia and AMD, as well as chip manufacturing services from Samsung Electronics. The Dojo project has been in the works for years and was once considered the core of Tesla's multi-billion dollar AI strategy. Dojo is Tesla's self-designed supercomputer system used to train the machine learning models that support its autonomous driving and FSD systems, as well as its Optimus robot.
