This action, targeting high-profile dormant wallets, including the 1Feex address holding 80,000 BTC, has sparked considerable debate, including speculation about Salomon Brothers' connection to Craig Wright. According to the Salomon Brothers website, under the "abandonment doctrine," assets untouched for 14 years may be considered legally abandoned, paving the way for their recovery. The method for accessing these wallets remains unclear. Salomon Brothers stated that an unnamed client plans to allocate a portion of the recovered Bitcoin to a fund designed to assist wallet owners who have lost their keys, with details to be announced in the coming months.
