最新报道:According to Bijie.com, blockchain infrastructure project Succinct announced the mainnet deployment of the Succinct Prover Network and the activation of its native PROVE token. The Succinct Prover Network provides a decentralized marketplace on Ethereum, enabling applications to submit zero-knowledge proof requests, and independent provers compete to verify them. It enables developers to use ZK technology without custom setup and aims to simplify building secure, transparent, and scalable cryptographic infrastructure. In a statement shared with The Block, the project stated that the system will support everything from Ethereum (which has prioritized ZK on its roadmap) to high-speed rollups that process tens of thousands of transactions per second for computationally intensive applications such as trading and AI agents. "Our goal from the outset has been to make proof infrastructure accessible at internet scale," said John Guibas, CTO of Succinct Labs. "Going from a whitepaper to a working mainnet in just eight months demonstrates what can happen when engineering and cryptography come together with a laser-like focus on a goal." The network's architecture utilizes off-chain execution and on-chain settlement—similar to Layer 2 designs. Proofs are periodically published to Ethereum, allowing any user to independently verify them. Users interact directly with off-chain components for performance, while settlement is enforced on-chain. The PROVE token serves as a medium of exchange and the backbone of the network's incentive and security model. "The PROVE token provides the economic basis for paying provers and those securing the network, thereby enabling a universal payment rail for all ZK-enabled infrastructure," the project noted. PROVE token holders can also participate in governance, deciding network parameters such as emissions, auction design, and fee structure. "With the launch of its mainnet, Succinct is ready to support the next generation of applications requiring verifiable computation," said Uma Roy, CEO of Succinct Labs. "We believe ZK proofs will become the standard for how cryptography integrates with the broader internet, and we are proud to be leading this transformation." The network claims to already support over 35 protocols, including Polygon, Mantle, Celestia, and Lido, has processed over 5 million proofs from 1,700 programs, and secured over $4 billion in value. In May, Succinct announced SP1 Hypercube, a next-generation zkVM designed for real-time Ethereum proofs, aligning with Ethereum's roadmap prioritizing ZK-based scaling without sacrificing decentralization. The following month, Succinct completed a ZK proof pilot on World Chain's mainnet, paving the way for Layer 2 to eventually become a ZK rollup. In 2024, the project's core developer, Succinct Labs, raised $55 million in a Series A funding round led by Paradigm.
