The hat, originally worn by the Shiba Inu character Achi, first appeared online in 2018. To ensure its authenticity, the auctioneer has verified ownership using the Bitcoin blockchain and a non-fungible token (NFT). A previous NFT from the meme sold for 1,210.759 ETH (approximately $4.3 million USD) in 2024. The auction will begin in 10 hours and will include the actual hat and related verification documents.
