最新报道:According to Coinnet, last week, gold saw strong buying following the release of weak non-farm payroll data, weakening the US dollar and boosting the XAUUSD pair. The XAUUSD closed above $3,360 on Friday, suggesting that the bullish trend may continue this week after some pullbacks. The bias for gold this week is to buy, with a potential target of $3,440 and even a new all-time high (ATH) above $3,500. With this in mind, let's discuss the key pivot levels for gold buying and selling during the week of August 4-8, 2025. Several important US economic reports are expected this week that are expected to impact the XAUUSD pair. August 5 – ISM Services PMI (Actual: 51.5, Forecast: 50.8): Stronger-than-expected growth in the services sector suggests economic resilience, which will boost the US dollar and put short-term pressure on gold. August 7 – Unemployment Claims (Actual: 221,000, Forecast: 218,000): Slightly higher claims suggest a slight softening in the job market, which could boost gold by raising the Fed's dovish forecast. As discussed in the previous XAUUSD weekly forecast, the monthly timeframe suggests an upward move toward external liquidity, which is exactly what is happening. We can expect this move to continue toward $3,440 and eventually test the previous all-time high of $3,500. Gold's 4-hour chart shows a clear shift in favor of buyers. The strongest buy zone is the breakout block from $3,334 all the way to $3,325. The 0.5 Fibonacci level also coincides with this area, making it a stronger buy zone this week. The 1-hour chart has a bearish target for selling; however, it should be noted that the trend has shifted to buying, and short-term selling opportunities can only be found in the $3,365-3,373 area.
