最新报道：Billionaire investor Adam Weitsman announced purchasing over 5,000 NFTs from Yuga Labs, including Otherdeeds, Mega Kodas and Weapon Kodas, to support the studio's metaverse project Otherside. The scrap metal entrepreneur stated this marks a long-term investment and pledged further acquisitions this year. Despite Yuga Labs selling major NFT brands amid a 95% market decline since 2022, Weitsman believes in Otherside's potential as a gamified MMORPG-style metaverse where NFTs become playable assets. Otherdeeds currently trade around $640, far below their 2022 launch when the virtual land parcels generated $317 million in hours. Yuga Labs has refocused development on Otherside following corporate restructuring.
