The leadership overhaul follows Grayscale's confidential IPO filing last month. Silbert, who stepped down in late 2023 amid regulatory scrutiny of parent company DCG, returns as the firm manages over $35 billion in crypto assets, including spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. "I continue to have deep conviction in the company’s long-term positioning," Silbert stated. The board now has five members, with plans to potentially add independent directors.
