最新报道:According to a report on Bijie.com on August 3rd by China Economic Net, since my country strictly banned virtual currency transactions in 2021, the disposal of virtual currencies involved in criminal cases has become a major challenge. The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Legal Affairs Corps, in collaboration with the Beijing Equity Exchange, has established a mechanism for the disposal of virtual currencies involved in criminal cases. The main process is as follows: public security organs entrust the physical virtual currency involved in the case to the Beijing Equity Exchange for disposal. The Beijing Equity Exchange selects a professional service agency to conduct inspection, receipt, and transfer of the virtual currency involved. The currency is then sold publicly through a licensed exchange in Hong Kong, with the foreign exchange converted into a special account for public security funds involved in the case. The funds will then be confiscated and turned over to the state treasury or returned to the victim in accordance with the law. The process design and the multi-departmental coordination established through an agreement ensure the orderly completion of the transfer, price inquiry, trading, foreign exchange settlement, and accounting of virtual currencies. After multiple discussions and discussions, all preparations were completed. On March 29th, the Legal Affairs Corps guided the Shunyi Branch of the Public Security Bureau and the Beijing Equity Exchange to sign the "Virtual Currency Disposal Business Agreement."
