最新报道:According to the latest news from the TRON community, at the TRON Developer Meeting #43, community developers held in-depth discussions on an upgrade plan for the SELFDESTRUCT instruction, proposing a proposal compatible with Ethereum's EIP-6780. The proposal aims to adjust the behavior and execution cost of the instruction to improve network security and compatibility. According to the meeting content, the upgrade plan primarily includes the following adjustments: The SELFDESTRUCT instruction will only completely delete the contract from the chain and transfer assets to the target address if it is called in the same transaction that created the contract; otherwise, only the assets within the contract will be transferred, and the contract itself will remain. Additionally, the energy cost of executing SELFDESTRUCT will be increased from the current 0 to 5000 to prevent command abuse and potential denial of service attacks. Community developers stated that this upgrade was inspired by Ethereum's gas cost updates and aims to achieve greater compatibility with Ethereum. If approved, contracts will support multiple SELFDESTRUCT executions, and the more reasonable execution cost will further enhance the security and stability of the TRON network, providing a more reliable development environment for developers.
