Visa Expands Stablecoin Support With PYUSD USDG EURC And Adds Two Blockchains

最新报道：Visa has expanded its stablecoin settlement capabilities by adding support for PayPal's PYUSD, USDC issuer Circle's EURC, and USDC on the Solana blockchain. The payments giant now enables cross-border settlements in these stablecoins alongside its existing USDC support on Ethereum. Visa's crypto head Cuy Sheffield stated the move aims to provide more flexibility for clients using stablecoins for international transactions. The company has processed over $10 billion in stablecoin transactions since launching its crypto settlement pilot in 2021. This expansion comes as Visa continues exploring blockchain technology's potential to modernize global payments infrastructure.
