最新报道:Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin proposed a strategic reserve of 10 million ETH (worth around $10 billion) to sustain the Ethereum ecosystem long-term. Speaking at ETHTaipei, Buterin suggested this reserve could fund core development, public goods, and staking rewards, ensuring stability beyond block rewards. He emphasized the need for sustainable funding mechanisms as Ethereum transitions to proof-of-stake, where issuance drops significantly. The proposal aims to address concerns about relying solely on transaction fees, which may fluctuate. Buterin noted the reserve could be managed by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for transparency. This comes as Ethereum's annual issuance rate fell to 0.25% post-Merge, compared to Bitcoin's 1.75%.
