Qubic's core is known to be Useful Proof of Work, which outsources computation for XMR and other PoW mining. Qubic founder Come-from-Beyond stated that, like the Monero community, they are seeking measures to address Qubic's 51% dominance in the hashrate and have suspended the Qubic mining pool from reporting its hashrate to websites like MiningPoolStats.
