The donation, made in March, comes as CZ faces a four-month prison sentence in the U.S. for violating anti-money laundering laws. While the contribution could be interpreted as seeking political influence, legal experts note it's unclear if this would impact his case. The super PAC, America PAC, has raised $52 million this election cycle, with significant crypto industry contributions including from Coinbase executives. CZ's sentencing is scheduled for April 30.
