最新报道：According to the news from Bijie.com, on July 24, Walrus Protocol, a blockchain storage protocol built on Sui, announced the release of Quilt, a batch storage solution, equipped with an intuitive API, which allows developers to store and access a large number of small files, such as NFT series, documents, AI communication data, logs, etc., conveniently, efficiently and at low cost. Quilt no longer saves each file separately, but groups multiple small files into one unit, thereby reducing the overhead and cost of a 100KB blob by about 106 times and the overhead and cost of a 10KB blob by about 420 times. Using Quilt can also reduce any SUI-denominated Gas fees associated with Walrus storage transactions. Currently, several projects including Tusky and Gata have adopted Quilt to optimize their storage architecture. At present, Quilt has been launched on the Walrus test network (version 1.29) and will be officially launched on July 30, 2025 with the main network version 1.29. According to the news from Bijie.com, as the global data infrastructure for on-chain developers, Walrus has carried 800+ TB of encoded data and 14 million blobs in more than three months since its launch, supporting hundreds of projects built on it.
