DCG-backed Horizen transitions ZEN to ERC-20 token on Base for compliant privacy L3 appchain

最新报道：Horizen has migrated its native ZEN token from its Layer 1 blockchain to Base as an ERC-20 token, marking the first phase of its Horizen 2.0 rollout as a privacy-focused Layer 3 appchain on Base. The 21 million ZEN supply cap remains unchanged, with Coinbase automatically converting existing tokens to the new ERC-20 standard. Originally launched in 2017 as privacy coin ZenCash, the project rebranded in 2018 and now shifts to a zero-knowledge-proof-powered dapp for modular privacy. Grayscale's Horizen Trust offers institutional exposure to ZEN, which currently holds a $134M market cap amid a 12% price dip.
