Trump Demands Commanders Revert to Redskins Name
-
最新报道：Donald Trump has called on Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder to revert the NFL team's name back to "Redskins," criticizing the current "Commanders" branding as weak and unpopular. The former president made the remarks during a recent interview, arguing the original name had a "strong brand" and history. The franchise changed its controversial name in 2020 following years of pressure from Native American groups and corporate sponsors. Snyder had previously resisted name changes for decades before finally relenting amid mounting public and commercial pressure. The Commanders organization has not responded to Trump's comments.
