Former football player sentenced to 30 months in prison for $900,000 crypto mining Ponzi scheme

最新报道：According to the CoinWorld report, Shane Donovan Moore, a former semi-professional football player, was sentenced to two and a half years in federal prison for operating a fake cryptocurrency mining scam. Between January 2021 and October 2022, Moore defrauded more than 40 investors through Quantum Donovan LLC and defrauded more than $900,000. He promised investors a 1% daily mining income, but actually used the funds for personal consumption such as luxury apartments, luxury goods and electronic products, while paying small returns to early investors in a Ponzi model to maintain the scam.
