BitMine Immersion Shifts to ETH Strategy, Draws Thiel-Linked Investment

The company, which previously focused on immersion-cooled Bitcoin mining, will now allocate 50% of its resources to Ethereum staking while maintaining its Bitcoin operations. CEO Chad Harris cited Ethereum's lower energy consumption and the upcoming Dencun upgrade as key factors in the strategic shift.
