最新报道:China Merchants Bank International (CMBI) has obtained a virtual assets license from Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission, becoming the first mainland Chinese broker authorized to offer crypto trading, custody, and advisory services in the city. While this grants CMBI access to Hong Kong's crypto market, lawyer Joshua Chu noted the firm remains barred from operating such services in mainland China due to the country's 2021 crypto ban. Hong Kong has actively embraced crypto firms since 2022, recently licensing four exchanges and preparing to regulate stablecoin issuers starting August 1, with over 40 companies already seeking approval.
