最新报道:Bitlayer's BitVM Bridge has launched its mainnet, enabling Bitcoin (BTC) liquidity for decentralized finance (DeFi) through a trust-minimized framework. The bridge secures users' BTC via a smart contract that assumes at least one honest participant will expose malicious activity, contrasting traditional custodial models. Co-founder Kevin He stated the team will now focus on expanding asset compatibility and integrating with more blockchain networks. The YBTC token, pegged 1:1 with BTC, allows holders to engage in DeFi activities while deriving security from BitVM's transparent contract. Bitlayer's "front-and-reclaim" model speeds up withdrawals by shifting the seven-day security wait to brokers. The platform is prioritizing integrations with Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin L2s like Lightning Network, alongside existing partnerships with Sui, Base, and others. Bitlayer plans to enhance security through audits, bug bounties, and open-sourcing its code.
