最新报道:According to the Coinnet report, Meta Platforms Inc. may face off against the European Union again after a 200 million euro ($232 million) fine failed to bring Facebook and Instagram up to speed with the EU's strict new digital regulations. The European Commission said it sent a letter to the social networking giant last week, warning that Meta's paid or consent services -- where users can pay for an ad-free experience -- needed further adjustments. If Meta fails to meet the requirements of the team of EU Competition Commissioner Teresa Ribera and Digital Policy Commissioner Henna Virkkunen, this procedural step could pave the way for the EU to formally issue a warning and eventually impose periodic fines. In April, Meta was fined for the first time for violating the Digital Markets Act.
