Bank of America: 47% of fund managers expect the Fed to cut interest rates twice this year

Among the fund managers surveyed, 47% expect two interest rate cuts in 2025; about a third (34%) expect one interest rate cut; 10% of respondents believe that interest rates will remain unchanged this year; 8% expect three interest rate cuts in 2025; and only 1% predict that the number of interest rate cuts will exceed three. Currently, the federal funds rate is in the range of 4.25%-4.50%.
