最新报道:According to the news from Bijie.com, William Kabogo, Minister of Information and Communications Technology of Kenya, announced the official launch of the national digital token KenyaNDT (KDT), which is deployed on the Solana blockchain. Kabogo said that Kenya is drafting a national virtual asset policy and a draft bill on virtual asset service providers (VASPs) to build a more standardized digital asset regulatory framework. He also disclosed that Kenyan citizens currently trade more than $500 million in digital assets per month, reflecting the high level of public participation in this field. Although the Central Bank of Kenya has not yet clarified the legal currency attributes or peg mechanism of KenyaNDT, Kabogo also clarified that the token is not issued directly by the government, but its goals are highly consistent with the national digital strategy. At present, the government is negotiating with the Central Bank, the Communications Administration and the Ministry of Finance to promote the implementation of governance models and regulatory compliance.
