最新报道：According to people familiar with the matter, as the EU and the US work to reach a temporary trade agreement in the coming days, the level of automobile and agricultural tariffs has become a key sticking point in the negotiations between the two sides. People familiar with the matter said the EU is seeking an export tariff of no more than 10% on agricultural products. Some automakers have previously pushed for an offsetting mechanism, in which companies exchange their investments in the United States for tariff reductions, but the mechanism is not currently under consideration because the EU is worried that this may lead to a shift in production across the Atlantic. The above-mentioned person added that EU negotiators are currently focusing on the issue of automobile tariffs.
