最新报道：Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin praised Eric Trump for acknowledging the blockchain's shift to a more eco-friendly proof-of-stake model, tweeting "You're finally green!" after the former president's son shared a pro-crypto post. The comment references Ethereum's 2022 Merge upgrade, which reduced its energy consumption by over 99%. Buterin has frequently highlighted Ethereum's sustainability improvements since transitioning from energy-intensive proof-of-work mining. The exchange comes as cryptocurrency's environmental impact remains a key debate, with Bitcoin still relying on proof-of-work.
