最新报道:Liu Xiaochun, deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of New Finance (SFI), pointed out in an article that even if my country has not issued RMB stablecoins at present, it should also include RMB stablecoins at home and abroad in supervision and issue RMB stablecoin management measures as soon as possible; its necessity lies in providing matching payment and settlement means for new transaction scenarios in the development of the digital economy, meeting the needs of exploring new cross-border payment methods, and preventing the risks brought by RMB stablecoins issued overseas, and safeguarding national financial security; there are no major legal obstacles to the issuance of RMB stablecoins. The supervision of RMB stablecoins should adhere to the coordinated management of domestic and foreign affairs, and strictly constrain capital scale, reserve assets, business scope, etc. For the sake of prudence, the sandbox mechanism can be used for pilot projects, and efforts should be made to achieve seamless connection between RMB stablecoins and digital RMB and bank account systems to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, we should pay close attention to the spillover risks of US policies on Bitcoin and stablecoins.
