Vecchiarelli, CFO of CleanSpark. "In June, the average price per bitcoin was $105,860 (net of customary expenses), which is $446 above the VWAP for the same period, excluding the premiums earned on derivatives transactions. While these strategies are still evolving, I am proud of the institutional-grade discipline and performance our finance team has demonstrated." CleanSpark currently operates 241,227 mining units and holds a bitcoin treasury of 12,608 BTC. This makes the company the seventh largest bitcoin holding among all publicly traded companies in the world. Every bitcoin in its treasury is mined in-house. "We achieved our mid-year goal of reaching 50 EH/s of operational hashrate, becoming the first bitcoin miner to achieve this goal entirely through fully self-operated infrastructure," said Zach Bradford, CEO and President of CleanSpark. "This represents a 9.6% month-over-month increase and further improves the energy efficiency of our mining machines to 16.15 J/Th." The company also announced that it has acquired an additional 179 MW of power capacity. This will support over 10 EH/s of future hashrate as part of CleanSpark’s ongoing infrastructure expansion across four states. The company is currently utilizing 808 MW of the 987 MW of power it has contracted. “Companies around the world are embracing the value of Bitcoin’s enhanced balance sheets,” Bradford added. “In fact, corporate Bitcoin acquisitions have exceeded ETF net inflows for the third consecutive quarter. At CleanSpark, we have been strategically positioned for this moment from the beginning. Rather than acquiring Bitcoin on the open market, we have invested in geographically diverse data center infrastructure that is backed by low-cost energy, allowing us to produce Bitcoin at a cost well below market price.” “I want to thank our team, especially our COO Scott Garrison and CTO Taylor Monnig, for their perseverance and leadership,” Bradford commented. “With the talent, infrastructure, and power contracts in place, CleanSpark is well positioned to continue to scale.”
