最新报道:Singapore's central bank has imposed S$3.8 million (US$2.75 million) in fines on three major banks - DBS, OCBC, and Citibank - for anti-money laundering (AML) compliance failures related to their dealings with German payments firm Wirecard. The Monetary Authority of Singapore found deficiencies in customer due diligence and suspicious transaction monitoring between 2017-2020. DBS received the largest penalty at S$2.6 million, while OCBC and Citibank were fined S$600,000 and S$400,000 respectively. The banks have since taken remedial actions to strengthen their AML controls. This marks Singapore's latest enforcement action following its S$1.1 billion crackdown on Wirecard-related entities in 2021.
