Coinbase Adds Wormhole Protocol Boosting Cross-Chain Interoperability

The move allows seamless asset and data transfers across over 30 blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon. Wormhole's multichain messaging will enable Coinbase WaaS users to build decentralized applications with native cross-chain functionality. This integration comes as Coinbase expands its Web3 infrastructure services, following recent partnerships with Base and other layer-2 solutions. The collaboration aims to simplify blockchain development by reducing technical barriers to cross-chain interactions.
