While initially free-to-play with optional in-game purchases, the game will later integrate blockchain elements, including NFT rewards. This follows the success of Pudgy Penguins' physical toy line, which generated over $10 million in sales. The project continues to grow under CEO Luca Netz, who acquired the NFT collection in 2022, driving mainstream adoption of Web3 through accessible gaming experiences.
