USDT issuer Tether issues gold tokens, interpretation of Thailand’s digital asset regulatory policy

币界网报道：Tether announced that its gold token XAU₮ will be listed on the Thai exchange Maxbit, with 1 XAU₮ corresponding to 1 ounce of gold. Previously, the Thai SEC has recognized USDT as a legal cryptocurrency, and the Deputy Prime Minister said that blockchain technology will be used to promote the development of the tourism industry. Tether has also previously cooperated with Bitkub, the largest exchange in Thailand, to carry out blockchain education projects. Currently, USDT is the most traded stablecoin in Thailand. Tether added 46 million user wallets in the first quarter, with a total market value of 1437 billion.
