Santa Anna National Bank Shuts Down Amid Fraud Suspicions
-
最新报道：Santa Anna National Bank has abruptly shut down amid fraud allegations, leaving customers unable to access funds. The Texas-based bank, which recently expanded into cryptocurrency services, froze accounts without prior notice, citing "suspicious activity." Regulators are investigating potential violations, including unlicensed crypto transactions and misappropriation of client assets. Customers report missing deposits totaling millions, with no clear timeline for resolution. The bank's CEO has not issued a public statement since the closure. This incident marks the third US regional bank collapse linked to crypto operations this year, raising fresh concerns about oversight in digital asset banking. Local authorities advise affected clients to file complaints with state financial regulators.
