Circle Faces 52% Market Cap Drop by 2026 Amid Competition and Regulation
-
最新报道：Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, could see its market capitalization drop by 52% to $5.5 billion by 2026 due to rising competition and regulatory pressures, according to a report by Berenberg Capital Markets. Analysts Mark Palmer and Hassan Saleem highlighted increasing rivalry from PayPal's PYUSD and Tether's USDT, alongside potential regulatory hurdles, as key challenges. Despite Circle's recent IPO filing and expansion efforts, the report suggests these factors may significantly impact its valuation. The company's current market cap stands at $9 billion, but Berenberg projects a decline unless Circle can navigate these obstacles effectively. The stablecoin sector remains highly competitive, with regulatory clarity still evolving.
