Elliptic's analysis reveals that since 2020, Lazarus has stolen over $3 billion in cryptocurrency across at least 38 attacks, primarily targeting decentralized finance protocols. The group's sophisticated laundering techniques involve converting stolen funds into Bitcoin via cross-chain bridges before ultimately cashing out through high-risk exchanges.
