币界网报道:Sui Network has surpassed Solana in monthly stablecoin transfer volume for the first time, processing over $6 billion in stablecoin transactions in January 2024 according to data from Artemis. The Layer 1 blockchain saw its stablecoin transfer volume grow by 1,500% since October 2023, outpacing Solana's $5.9 billion in stablecoin transfers during the same period. This milestone comes as Sui's total value locked (TVL) reached $360 million, marking a 1,000% increase since September 2023. The network's native token SUI also hit an all-time high price of $1.68 on January 31, with its market capitalization crossing $1.8 billion. Sui's rapid growth has been attributed to several key developments including the launch of decentralized exchange (DEX) platforms like Cetus and Aftermath Finance, which collectively account for over 70% of the network's TVL. Additionally, Sui has gained traction in the gaming sector with titles like Panzerdogs and Bushi driving user engagement. The network's technical capabilities, including high throughput and low latency, have positioned it as a strong competitor in the blockchain space. While Ethereum remains the dominant platform for stablecoin transfers with $317 billion in January, Sui's performance highlights the increasing diversification of the stablecoin ecosystem across multiple blockchain networks.
