U.S. stocks give up nearly all gains as Trump restarts trade war

币界网报道：Trump is back to being Mr. Tariffs. After a week of trying to make peace in the Middle East, Trump has reversed course again and here we go again. The S&P 500 was on track to set a new all-time high and close above its previous record of 6,147, but has now given back about 40 points of gains to barely be positive. I tend to think Trump is playing games until he reaches a deal with Canada, but that's the market - everyone is free to bet on what Trump will do next. It seems to me that if he really wanted to confront Canada, he would have announced new tariffs.
