Ripple Launches Permissioned DEX, But Adoption Remains Low

最新报道：SBI Holdings CEO Yoshitaka Kitao praised Ripple's upcoming permissioned decentralized exchange (DEX) during the company's earnings call, highlighting strong institutional demand for the platform. The DEX, set to launch on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) later this year, will cater to regulated entities by incorporating know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance features. Kitao emphasized that financial institutions prefer permissioned environments due to regulatory requirements, positioning Ripple's solution as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized technologies. SBI, a major Ripple partner and investor, plans to actively participate in the DEX, which will support cross-border payments and tokenized asset trading. The announcement comes as Ripple continues expanding its enterprise-focused blockchain solutions despite its ongoing legal battle with the SEC over XRP's regulatory status.
