币界网报道：Metaplanet, a Tokyo-listed Japanese hospitality firm, has surpassed Tesla to become the fifth-largest corporate holder of Bitcoin after purchasing an additional 1,234 BTC for $133 million at an average price of $107,877. The acquisition brings Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings to 12,345 BTC, acquired at an average price of $98,303, overtaking Tesla's 11,509 BTC. The company follows only MicroStrategy, Marathon Digital, Riot Platforms, and Galaxy Digital in corporate Bitcoin holdings. Metaplanet has been steadily accumulating Bitcoin, mirroring the strategy popularized by MicroStrategy, which holds over 570,000 BTC. The move highlights the growing trend of firms adopting Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset.
