The bill was passed by the Senate on June 17 and is currently awaiting a vote in the House of Representatives and signature by the President. If formally legislated, it may change the US regulatory characterization of the TerraUSD algorithmic stablecoin, thereby affecting the legal basis for DoKwon to be charged with securities fraud and other related provisions.
