币界网报道:Crypto scam markets are flourishing on Telegram, with fraudsters using the messaging app to sell stolen credentials, phishing kits, and hacking tools, according to a new report by cybersecurity firm Sophos. These underground markets offer services like "crypto drainers" that siphon funds from victims' wallets, with prices ranging from $200 to $1,500. Sophos identified over 1,200 Telegram channels dedicated to crypto scams, some with tens of thousands of members. The report highlights the ease of access to these illicit services, as Telegram's lax moderation allows such groups to operate openly. Scammers often rebrand and relaunch channels after being shut down, making enforcement difficult. Experts warn users to remain vigilant against unsolicited investment offers and suspicious links shared on the platform.
