Criminals impersonate official accounts on X platform, claiming to give away cold wallets such as Ledger for free, and actually send out "new and sealed" real devices to induce users to let down their guard. The real trap is often hidden in the device itself or in the initialization instructions that come with it, which may be tampering with the device, or inducing users to disclose mnemonics through social engineering.
