币界网报道:Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced the upcoming launch of PearPass, a fully local and open-source password manager, following a massive 16 billion password leak affecting major platforms like Apple and Google. Ardoino criticized cloud-based security vulnerabilities, stating PearPass stores all data exclusively on users' devices with no cloud reliance. The stablecoin issuer previously developed peer-to-peer lending platform Pear Credit in 2022 and is currently working on Tether AI, an open-source AI runtime. Ardoino emphasized his focus on creating resilient technologies that function in extreme scenarios, aligning with Tether's human-first development philosophy.
