币界网报道:French authorities have granted Telegram CEO Pavel Durov conditional travel permission to Dubai for 14 days starting July 10, marking his second authorized departure since his August 2024 detention over alleged illicit activities on the messaging platform. Durov cited urgent family reasons, including attending to his newborn son who lacks a passport due to his absence at birth, and caring for his teenage son who recently suffered a broken arm in Dubai. The French National Anti-Fraud Office arrested Durov last year for allegedly enabling cybercrimes through Telegram, including distributing cryptographic tools, child pornography, and money laundering. Meanwhile, Telegram's affiliated blockchain TON continues to show significant market activity, with Toncoin maintaining a $7.2 billion market cap despite a recent decline in active addresses from 1.44 million in October 2024 to 130,000 currently. The network's growth was previously fueled by viral mini-apps like Hamster Kombat and Notcoin.
